Let us Join You on the Journey After Adoption

At Focus on the Family, we believe every child has the right to a family.  But we also recognize that adoptive families may have unique challenges related to parenting children who have experienced abuse or neglect in their past.

Because of this need, our staff has been educated to help answer your specific questions, provide relevant resources and pray with adoptive families.  Although there are difficulties, you don't have to walk this road alone.

Families seeking someone to talk with can call us today at 800-A-FAMILY (232-6459), Monday-Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. MDT or contact our counseling help line directly for a consultation at 1-855-771-HELP.

Empowered to Connect Conference

Please join us in Dallas, Denver or Nashville for the Empowered to Connect Conference, sponsored by Show Hope and led by Dr. Karyn Purvis (Director of the Texas Christian University Insitute of Child Development) together with Michael and Amy Monroe (leaders of Tapestry Adoption & Foster Care Ministry).  This two-day conference for adoptive and foster parents, ministry leaders and professionals is designed to help them better understand how to connect with children from hard places in order to help them heal.

Because we believe this will be an invaluable experience, Focus on the Family would like to offer you 1/2 off your registration fee for the conference.  To register, please visit www.showhope.org/connect and enter the discount code "FOCUS" to receive your discount.  There are limited seats available at the discounted rate.
