Foster Care in El Paso County
How it affects our community

Currently in El Paso County, an average of more than 500 children and youth are in foster care each month.  Still others are living in group homes or residential treatment facilities.  Many of these kids have been part of the foster care system for many years, unsure what the future holds for them.

As the community of Colorado Springs, our goal is to support not only the kids in foster care, but the foster families, caseworkers, and judges who serve them.

Join us on Saturday, June 11 from 2 pm to 5 pm on the campus of Colorado College.  We'll discuss more about the needs of foster families and kids in care as well as provide opportunities for your church, family, or organization to be involved.
